Women of the World Festival: International Women’s Day News 2018

Well behaved women rarely make history  -Eleanor Roosevelt-

Delighted to announce that I have been invited to mentor some extraordinary women at Women of the World (WOW) Festival for the 4th year running at London Southbank Centre this week as part of International Women’s Day.

With 2018 being the official year of women and the ongoing celebrations of the centenary of when the first wave of women won the right to vote; there is an inspiring movement for powerful and long-lasting change and it is no wonder that WOW Festival is completely SOLD OUT!

BUT this doesn’t mean you can’t take part in events close to you – do have a look here to find out some inspiring, moving and important initiatives, from workshops, to creativity to empowering talks, being carried out by phenomenal women nationwide with the theme  #pressforprogress.

With global movements for women’s equality fuelled by universal initiatives like #MeToo, #TimesUp and more – there is strong global momentum to better strive towards parity and Press for Progress is set to help us continue momentum with striving towards gender equality.

I shall be updating you with what I get up to at WOW Festival soon, until then, recognise the beauty of your power. Continue to strive for more than what you think you deserve, continue to prioritise your self-worth and well-being. Continue to lift each other higher –  when women support women we are truly remarkable. Happy International Women’s Day.
