London Anti-Racism Masterclass and Supper-club

Are you ready to stand up for what you believe in?

With a rise of social injustices. With casual racism becoming every day occurrences in the media, workplace, communities and of course, politics, there is a growing desire of incredible human beings, people like you, who want to stop it. Who want to be part of change, but often don’t know where to start.

I know the idea of having difficult conversations about race, with friends, family or even colleagues, can leave you feeling anxious. As a result, you often freeze. Which almost always leads to frustration, helplessness, and definitely inaction. As a result it means you often let casual racism pass by.

I understand how hard this can be.

I understand how it can make you feel guilty or shameful and that makes this work even harder.

I understand the importance of feeling safe enough to be honest to deepen your learning, to share your mistakes and connect with like-minded people.

Wherever you are on your anti-racism journey, if you care about justice and equality for all and how you can be part of change this masterclass is for you.

I invite you to join me and other change-makers at this live anti-racism masterclass and supper-club on the 31st August 2019.

Successful anti-racism work is rooted in the power of communication, connection and bringing people together.

There is nothing like food that brings connection, comfort, and conversation. So a supper club is a perfect backdrop to follow our anti-racism masterclass to deepen learning, step into the power of communication.

You will have already discovered, one of the hardest parts of doing anti-racism work is not just the self-exploration and challenging conversations required, but realising that those closest to you often aren’t yet on the same path, which means this work can feel VERY isolating at times.

  • This IS an invitation to you if most of your friends, family, and colleagues are not actively engaged in this work and you constantly end up being the educator.

  • It is for you if you often feel lonely in this work

  • It is for you if you value community and want to connect with, learn from and widen your network of like-minded people doing anti-racism work.

  • It is for you if you want to have uncomfortable conversations with more ease. Plus more tangible knowledge to broach the subject with friends, family, partners, colleagues, and more tools to better support and show up for your friends and peers of colour.

  • It is for you if you know that a powerful journey lies ahead AND it ABSOLUTELY for you if you realise YOU are part of the powerful majority and have the courage to start leading change.
