One of the things I love about working for myself is the variety in my working week!
This month saw me heading to sunny Liverpool to offer some speed coaching sessions with a number of talented photographers at photography summit aptly named SUMMIT.
With over 200 photographers in attendance from across Europe, featuring speakers from around the world, the energy for learning, reigniting passion, collaborating and sharing was infectious.
One of the things I personally love about offering speed mentoring and coaching sessions is that it forces participants to FOCUS on what is coming up as a block or challenge. Then hone in on the one thing that they want to start to ‘unpick’ and develop realistic strategies on how to overcome them.
With my editorial hat on, I also had the pleasure of doing a short Q&A session on how to get submissions published on blogs.
What I quickly learned was how much photographers like to party, I for one, could not keep up and was tucked up in bed with my onesie by 10pm.
Such a delight to spend this day with this talented and passionate bunch.
Thank you for having me SUMMIT!
